Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeopleCore HR ("the Service"), operated by PeopleCore HR (Pty) Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PeopleCore HR is a cloud-based human resources management platform for South African businesses, providing employee management, payroll processing, leave management, recruitment and related HR functions accessible at app.peoplecore.co.za.

3. Acceptable Use

• You must provide accurate company and employee information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must not attempt to access another company's data
• You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the platform
• You must ensure all employees whose data you process have been informed per POPIA

4. Data Responsibility

You are the Responsible Party under POPIA for the personal data of your employees that you process through PeopleCore. We act as an Operator on your behalf.

You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and have the lawful authority to process employee personal information through the platform.

5. Payment Terms

The Starter plan is free. Paid plans (Professional, Enterprise) are billed monthly via EFT. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. Failure to pay may result in account suspension after 14 days notice.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT where applicable.

6. Uptime & Support

We target 99.5% monthly uptime excluding scheduled maintenance. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime.

Support is provided via email at legal@peoplecore.co.za. We aim to respond within 1 business day.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with 14 days notice except in cases of serious breach or non-payment.

On termination you may request a data export within 30 days. After 30 days data may be deleted subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

PeopleCore HR (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for payroll errors resulting from incorrect data entered by your organisation.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
